Slack is team messaging, and the reason it belongs in a directory of AI tools is the archive. For most teams the real record of why a decision was made is a thread, not a document — so AI recaps and search over channel history reach material that exists nowhere else. It is also the surface where agents get useful, because it is where the work is already being discussed. The corresponding risk is the same one: a searchable archive of everything ever said is also an exposure.
